I equate fitness accessories to life's little "bells and whistles". Fitness tools can give you more time to fit fitness into your life and into your home. We have so many excuses not to work out. So, as I see it, any tool that helps you get out there and start sweating is beneficial in my books, even if it's purely aesthetic.

Committing to fitness starts with being honest with yourself. If you know that you tend to make excuses to get out of working out, then purchasing a heavy-duty gym bag with mesh pockets might stop you from fleeing the gym if your wet towel makes your socks damp and we all know you can't work out in damp socks (sure, sure). Likewise, time keepers and measuring devices such as stopwatches , pedometers and heart rate monitors might be needed at first until you become familiar with your maximum heart rate and your personal best. These fitness accessories will be valuable towards creating all of your future fitness programs.

Other fitness accessories will become your constant companions. For example, once you start working out you will never question the importance of a water bottle again. And While fitness accessories such as interlocking tread mats will provide you and your home with a safe fitness environment.
