Balls, balls, balls. You've likely seen the cardio class at your gym doing a butts and guts on the ball class with them. And at first you may have laughed them off as something that only girls work out with that's until you noticed that power lifter using one to do his abdominal crunches.

Yes, I'm talking about fitness balls. I have a red one that I use almost every day. These big blow-up balls can be used to make almost any exercise more difficult because they strengthen your core and improve your balance and posture. Medicine Balls these weighted balls can be used for warm-up stretches or you can incorporate them into traditional exercises as you would dumbbells or a weight belt. I use my ball for what I like to call medicinal squats (I thought it was pretty clever, myself). I just hold the medicine ball at arms' length straight out in front of my chest and perform traditional squats.

Stability Balls , balance balls, yoga balls, Swiss balls they're all big rubber balls that we use to strengthen our stabilizing muscles or our core.
