Squat Racks Frankfort KY
Mc Kee, KY
If I had to choose one and only one exercise to perform for the rest of my life I would pick squats without hesitation. And do you know why?
I like to refer to squats as lower body burners. Yes, squats make your quads and glutes burn. In fact, I often emerge from 3 sets of squats with legs like Gumby, but the definition they've given my lower body make them totally worth every ounce of grief.
And listen up ladies, in my opinion squats are the ultimate exercises to strengthen and tone your hips, butt and thighs. In fact I'd like to put a stop to a certain rumor I got wind of that squats can damage your back and knees. Actually, squats will only make them stronger.
However, these lower body blasters aren't for the weak of heart. I'd be lying if I told you they didn't burn, but they offer total body benefits primarily starting with the quadriceps muscles and secondarily the lower back, knees, hamstrings, calves, glutes and even your hip flexors. I don't know if you're aware of it but these muscles are responsible for supporting your upper body, so doing squats will help improve your overall balance as well.
To perform squats safely at home a squat rack is used to position the barbell at upper chest height. A squat rack will support the barbell safely and securely at from 30 inches to 60 inches without the need for a spotter.
