When I decided it was time to do half of my weekly workouts in my apartment, I chose to lay interlocking foam tread mats in what was then my guest bedroom sorry mom. These dense foam floor mats are ideal for exercise rooms especially in rentals because they will protect any hard wood, asphalt, clay, tile, concrete, linoleum or carpeted surface from scratches, cracks and dents.
